About the class

Learn to play ukulele at Wellington Music Centre! In this unique beginner class, small people and big people will get started learning to play the ukulele together. Participants will learn about rhythm, chords, and reading music – all while playing as an ensemble! WMC ukuleles are available for use during the class, but we recommend students get at least one uke for practice at home. This class runs term-by-term to give families flexibility. You are welcome to join for a single term, several terms, or the whole year! Time: Saturday 9:45am - 10:30am Location: Room 1 Teacher: Anton Age range: 6-10 years old (with caregivers of any age) FEES (per term): $42 | first child in family - this is your first enrolment for 2024 $31 | second child in family - you have already enrolled an older/younger sibling $26 | extra class - your child is already enrolled into another 2024 class at WMC (i.e. this is your child's second/third instrument they are learning with us) Donation options are included so you can support our school if you have the means. Extra funds will go to supporting the Wellington Music Centre's ensembles, community events, and fair pay for staff. Your contributions are hugely appreciated!
